How it works

Pick a shift that fits your week.

The pantry runs on about 120 volunteers. Pick a role and a shift that fits your week, fill in a short form, and our volunteer coordinator will call you within a few days. Most roles need no experience. Drivers and people who work with children need a police check, and we cover the cost.

We host groups of up to 10 people on weekday mornings.

Groups sort donations and stock shelves before the doors open. Book at least three weeks ahead. High school students get their volunteer hours signed off at the end of the shift.

Drivers and people who work with children need a police check. We pay for it. Volunteer time does not get a tax receipt, because the CRA does not allow receipts for services.
