Every agent on the team is registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario and works with Ashgrove Realty Inc., Brokerage. Before you sign an agreement with us, we give you the RECO Information Guideand go through it with you.
How much is your commission?
Commission is set by agreement between you and the brokerage, and we put it in writing before you sign a listing agreement. At the first meeting, we go through what it covers.
Should I renovate before I list?
Usually not. Fix what an inspector would write down and deal with any water. We tell you at the first walk-through which jobs are worth the money.
Do I sign an agreement before you work with me?
Yes. In Ontario, a brokerage that works for you as a buyer does so under a representation agreement. We put ours in writing and go through it with you, including how long it lasts and how we are paid.
Do I have to list with you afterward?
No. The valuation is free and there is no obligation to list with us.
