01 The plan

Four neighbourhoods, coloured by what they are built of.

Old insurance plans of Ottawa coloured every house by its material. Brick was pink, wood frame was yellow and stone was blue. Pick a neighbourhood to see which homes you will find there, and when they were built.

Meet the team

Example review. We post reviews only with the client's dated, written consent.

Ines told us to fix the basement before we touched the kitchen, and she showed us the sales on our street that made her case. Every Friday we got a short email with what happened that week and what came next.

08 Questions

What people ask at the first meeting.

Which brokerage are you with?

The Larkspur Home Team is a team of registered real estate agents with Ashgrove Realty Inc., Brokerage. Every agent on the team is registered with RECO.

How much is your commission?

Commission is set by agreement between you and the brokerage, and we put it in writing before you sign a listing agreement. At the first meeting, we go through what it covers.

Do you only work in west Ottawa?

Most of our sales are in Westboro, Hintonburg, Wellington West and Carlington. We also help buyers and sellers elsewhere in Ottawa, and we will tell you if another agent knows an area better.

Can I search listings without signing up?

Yes. You can search every listing on our site without an account. Sign up only if you want email alerts for new listings.

Is this the same as an appraisal?

No. It is an opinion of market value from a registered agent. A lender that needs an appraisal will order one from a licensed appraiser.

Do I sign an agreement before you work with me?

Yes. In Ontario, a brokerage that works for you as a buyer does so under a representation agreement. We put ours in writing and go through it with you, including how long it lasts and how we are paid.
