What is included

Root canal treatment, with our general dentists

Root canal treatment at Maplegate is provided by our general dentists. A root canal removes infected or damaged pulp from inside a tooth, cleans the canals and seals them. Most treatments take one or two visits, with local freezing. Your dentist will tell you before you start if your tooth is a complex case, and we refer complex cases to an endodontist.

When we refer

When a tooth has curved or blocked canals, or needs a second root canal, we refer you to an endodontist and send your X-rays.

Costs

A written estimate before treatment

We bill most insurance plans and the Canadian Dental Care Plan directly. Before any treatment, you get a written estimate that shows what your plan should pay.
