Selling online looks simple from the outside. Behind every order are product photos, descriptions, taxes by province, shipping rates, payment fees and emails, and each one has to be right. Our ecommerce website design covers all of them, along with how the store looks.
What we set up
- The platform. Shopify for most shops, WooCommerce when you need WordPress or lower monthly fees.
- Design. A custom store design that matches your brand, with no default theme.
- Products. Clear product pages with photos, variants, sizes and descriptions that help people buy and help Google understand what you sell.
- Canadian taxes. GST, HST and PST charged correctly by province.
- Shipping. Canada Post and courier rates, free shipping rules and local pickup.
- Payments. Credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, Shopify Payments or PayPal.
- Emails. Order confirmations and shipping updates that look like your brand.
Search setup in every store
Every store we build includes:
- A category and product structure that matches how people search.
- Product details set up so Google can show prices and stock in search results.
- Product photos sized for each screen, so pages load quickly on a phone.
- Google Search Console and Google Merchant Center setup.
After launch
We show you how to add products, run sales and manage orders. After launch:
- A Shopify store runs on your own Shopify account. You pay Shopify’s monthly fee directly, on either plan. Your store and its data stay in your name.
- A monthly plan covers updates, backups and a set number of edit hours each month. For a WooCommerce store, it also covers hosting.
- If you pay once, changes cost $60 an hour. A WooCommerce store also needs paid hosting.
